FEAR ME, YA BITCHES.

hey all, thanks for coming to the requiem site.  i know for a lot of us, we are angry that the last boys and requiem's legacy  has been completely forgottne for a decade after req's supposed death.
i am one of the people who thinks req never really died, but instead chose to leave the public scene.  there are alot of reasons i tihnk this because they left a lot of clues to his realfans (you and me!!) SUCH AS:

when swill records was sold to biolumina, the promo on last boys's album and singles slowed down a lot.  it is common knowledge that req themself booked that famous interview with rolling stone after the tour ended early.

the lost third album supposedly was meant to be a much more normal followup to the other 2 albums but when tom parnam left, req decided to leave the scene and make 1 last album that would tell their side of the story.  that's why the album has so many hints to them leaving, or they called it "ascending."

VIRGIN SACRIFICE: "you want me to stay but i have to fly away"

MAGICIAN'S ASSISTENT: "i'm not going to be one behind the curtain/you're not gonna see me disappear/all you worry about is yourself/when it's the last trick you should fear"

SHADOW FIGURE: "curtains closing and the actors are still saying their lines/no one's noticed i've slipped away / you'll notice when everyone takes a bow/but i've said everything i have to say"

AND there is so much more.  I'm gonna add more when I can!  thanks for coming again and remmber to check back soon.
